Kurz: SetBok hat keine Werbung, kein Tracking und keine Analyse-Tools. Ohne Konto bleiben deine Trainingsdaten auf deinem Gerät. Ein Konto ist freiwillig.

  • Gespeichert wird auf deinem Gerät. Workouts, Vorlagen, Programme und Einstellungen liegen in einer Datenbank in der App auf deinem Handy.
  • Konto und Cloud (freiwillig): Wenn du ein Konto erstellst (E-Mail oder „Mit Apple anmelden“), werden deine E-Mail-Adresse, der Zeitpunkt der Kontoerstellung sowie deine Workouts, Vorlagen, Programme und Einstellungen bei Google Firebase in der Schweiz (Rechenzentrum Zürich) gespeichert, damit du sie auf mehreren Geräten nutzen kannst. Nur du hast mit deinem Login Zugriff darauf. Die Daten werden nicht ausgewertet, nicht weitergegeben und nicht für Werbung genutzt. Es gelten zusätzlich die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Google. Du kannst das Konto samt allen Cloud-Daten jederzeit in der App löschen (Einstellungen → Konto & Cloud → Konto verwalten → Konto löschen).
  • Allgemeine App-Einstellungen: Beim Start lädt die App auch ohne Konto einige allgemeine Einstellungen von Firebase, zum Beispiel welche Funktionen gerade verfügbar sind. Dabei wird nichts über dich gespeichert. Technisch bedingt sieht Google dabei die IP-Adresse deines Geräts.
  • Backup und Export erstellst du selber als Datei und entscheidest selber, wo du sie speicherst (z. B. Dateien, iCloud Drive, Google Drive).
  • Kalender: Wenn du Trainings in den Kalender einträgst, schreibt die App nur diese Termine in deinen Kalender. Sie liest keine anderen Termine aus.
  • Mitteilungen und Live-Aktivität: Die App plant eine lokale Mitteilung für das Ende der Pause und zeigt das laufende Training auf dem Sperrbildschirm. Beides läuft nur auf deinem Gerät, es wird nichts verschickt.
  • Google Sheet (optional): Wenn du in den Einstellungen ein eigenes Google Apps Script verbindest, schickt die App nach einem Training die Werte dieses Trainings (Gewicht, Wiederholungen, RPE) direkt an deine eigene Script-Adresse bei Google. Dafür gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Google.
  • Löschen: Einstellungen → Alle Daten löschen, oder die App löschen. Damit ist auf dem Gerät alles weg. Daten in der Cloud löschst du mit Konto & Cloud → Konto verwalten → Konto löschen.
  • Diese Webseite verwendet keine Cookies und kein Tracking. Nur deine Sprachwahl wird in deinem Browser gespeichert. Ausgeliefert wird sie von Cloudflare; dabei werden technisch bedingt IP-Adressen verarbeitet.

Deine Rechte: Du kannst jederzeit Auskunft über deine Daten verlangen und sie berichtigen oder löschen lassen. Die meisten Daten kannst du direkt in der App löschen. Für alles andere schreib an support@setbok.ch. Du kannst dich auch bei einer Datenschutzbehörde beschweren, in der Schweiz beim EDÖB.

Privacy Policy

In short: SetBok has no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Without an account, your workout data stays on your device. An account is optional.

  • Everything is stored on your device. Workouts, templates, programs and settings live in a database inside the app on your phone.
  • Account and cloud (optional): If you create an account (email or Sign in with Apple), your email address, the date your account was created and your workouts, templates, programs and settings are stored with Google Firebase in Switzerland (Zurich data centre) so you can use them on several devices. Only you can access them with your login. The data is not analysed, not shared and not used for advertising. Google's privacy policy also applies. You can delete the account and all cloud data at any time in the app (Settings → Account & cloud → Manage account → Delete account).
  • General app settings: When it starts, the app loads a few general settings from Firebase, even without an account, for example which features are currently available. Nothing about you is stored. For technical reasons, Google sees your device's IP address.
  • Backup and export are files you create yourself, and you decide where to keep them (e.g. Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive).
  • Calendar: When you add workouts to your calendar, the app only writes those events. It does not read your other events.
  • Notifications and Live Activity: The app schedules a local notification for the end of a rest period and shows the running workout on the lock screen. Both stay on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.
  • Google Sheet (optional): If you connect your own Google Apps Script in Settings, the app sends the values of a workout (weight, reps, RPE) directly to your own script address at Google after the workout. Google's privacy policy applies to that.
  • Deleting: Settings → Delete all data, or delete the app. That removes everything on the device. Delete cloud data with Account & cloud → Manage account → Delete account.
  • This website uses no cookies and no tracking. Only your language choice is saved in your browser. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses for technical reasons.

Your rights: You can ask at any time what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can delete most data directly in the app. For anything else, write to support@setbok.ch. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in Switzerland the FDPIC, in the EU the authority in your country.
